Jay Larson plucks from his childhood in the Boston suburbs, his time living in a condemned house in Venice California, and his outlandish imagination to create a refreshing, inventive, and oddly unique comedic voice. His comedy dares his audience to question reality by exploring the metaphysical and surreal. Jay's performance at the 2005 Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival prompted Variety Magazine to note him as one of the top new faces in comedy and Time Out New York described him as "a unique voice worth supporting."
Since Montreal, Jay has performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson twice, Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," and AMC's "Date Night." He recently finished shooting the feature film comedy "Nacho Mountain," which will be released in 2009.
While stand up will always be one of his passions, Jay has been quite busy writing, developing, and producing web content. With short films on Funny or Die, Black 20, and Atom Films, Jay is making his presence on the web felt. In addition to viral videos, Jay also continues to develop his own television and film scripts and writes on network projects.
