Jacqueline is 25-years-old, and a total joke of a person. Since graduating from Georgetown in 04, where she won the District's Funniest College Stand-Up Contest at the DC Improv, Jacqueline has been touring with her piercingly observant stand-up act at clubs and colleges in the northeast and midwest.
Her comedy is disarming and sweet, but doesn't pull any punches, always full of honest, at times even startling insights you'd never expect form the girl next door.
Recently she returned to her alma mater, opening for Mike Birbiglia on his Comedy Central Live MEDIUM MAN ON CAMPUS tour. "I find myself quoting her jokes to my friends…" says Birbiglia, who calls Jacqueline "one of the next great stars in comedy." She does stand-up because she loves to stay up late talking. Catch her stand-up on XM radio's Comedy 150 channel.
Jacqueline hosts The Comedians, a weekly show at Pianos with Greg Johnson every Sunday at 7:30.
"A comedian who I foresee will be one of the next great stars in comedy. She's got a sharply honest and clever comedic voice that really works in any setting."
Mike Birbiglia
"Jacqueline Novak is a great comedian and should be booked right away. The only reason to not book her is if you fear awesomeness."
Eugene Mirman
"Jacqueline is really really funny. Really. She's cute. She's hilarious. She's a double threat! (Triple threats are so 90s)."
Ricky Van Veen, founder, College Humor
"Jacqueline Novak is an extremely talented stand-up who's cracked me up literally every single time I've seen her act."
Todd Hanson, Head Writer, the Onion
